Sound & Video
RADIO KENYA
The sonic heart of Project Ocean Sole is Radio Kenya — a curated soundtrack of music from Kenya that is woven throughout the entire exhibit. We were deliberate about this: no generic "world music," no muzak Africa. The music is honest, relevant, and rooted in the place where Ocean Sole does its work.
The Radio Kenya soundtrack is licensed for public performance through Soundtrack, which ensures full commercial rights compliance for your venue.
Sound Design
At key points in the journey, ambient sound helps immerse guests in far-flung places: crashing waves on a beach in Kenya, sanding in Ocean Sole’s Workshop, undersea scenes, and the cold winds of Antarctica.
Exhibit Video
Our approach to video was deliberate: keep guests grounded in the physical experience of the exhibit. Rather than narrative films that pull attention away from the sculptures, the video in Project Ocean Sole is ambient — part of the scene, not a interruption of it.
What it does allow us to do is bring Ocean Sole's world directly to guests. Artisans at work in the Nairobi workshop. Beach teams doing cleanup. The community behind every sculpture.
